walking into your local HMV to buy the next big tune
before anyone else had a copy? Rushing home, opening
all the windows and cranking up the Amstrad stereo
as high as it would go, maxing out those red fairy
lights before the speakers warped & and the
neighbours were knocking at the door.
You were the nuts, everyone
wanted to be you, girls screamed outside your door
for hours.
Then someone steps up and
flashes the sleeve of the new hot off the press 12"
remix in your face. :(
